Bandai seems to be releasing lots of Zaku for their Master Grade line lately. Following the release of MG Zaku II Black Tri-star's High Mobility Type ver 2.0 in Jan, two more Zakus, the MG Zaku Minelayer and MG MS-06F Zaku II (ver 2.0) were also released not long ago.
It’s a shame because MG Zaku Minelayer is exactly the same as MG MS-06J "Zaku II" (ver 2.0) released last year. Only different being a new backpack and boosters on its legs. The MS-06F Zaku II is the same as well but without the Minelayer backpack but comes with an additional giant bazooka.

The reason why they all look the same is because they are actually triplets, not because Bandai is milking all it’s worth from their Zaku II ver 2.0 mould.
Just as we thought we have seen enough of Zaku, another Zaku is going to be released in June, MS-06R-2 Zaku II High Mobility Type "Johnny Ridden"… Click here to read more of this entry
