A female reporter from a local Chinese newspaper gave the movie Evangelion 1.0: You Are (Not) Alone only one and a half stars out of five (black means one star, white means half a star) for both entertainment value and artistic value.
Feeling a bit disheartened, I came to the conclusion that this reporter is probably not a fan of perhaps one of the greatest animes since the dawn of civilization. One so influential it turned millions of innocent young lads (me included) into otakus (hmm… that’s a good thing right?)
