Panel lines and Topcoat

Status report of Gundam Kyrios. Hours was spent on drawing panel lines alone for one runner. The first picture (courtesy of dalong.net) is before panel lines are drawn and the second picture is mine after hours of hard work, plus applying some spare decals from my other MGs.

After that a layer of Mr. Super Clear Flat topcoat was sprayed to give it a nice rough texture. I don’t do painting as I’m n00b I have no time, spaying of topcoat proves to be a good alternative to making one’s Gundam appear less plastic looking.

By the way, there seems to be a shortage of flat topcoat in Singapore. There’s a UV flat version but it cost 25% than a normal flat. If the shortage continues, I might have to get that. >.< Click here to read more of this entry
